So maybe you think I'm crazy because I love mugs but hate coffee, but that's alright. Here's my story on how I got hooked on mugs...I was introduced to thrift stores when I was in high school but was not too fond of them because I thought it was weird (and kind of gross) to use something that had already had a previous owner. Don't get me wrong, I have an older sister who I had hand me downs from, but to have some clothes or other things from a person I did not know kind of scared me. Anyways, back to my story. In college I was encouraged by my boyfriend, now husband, to go shopping with him at thrift stores. He is the thrift store king and can find anything but I am not so lucky and always end up at the Brick-a-Brack section searching for something worth buying. Mugs always caught my eye and finally one day I bought one...and then another and then another. To make a long story short--flash forward to when I get married and my husband tells me I can only keep ten mugs. JUST TEN MUGS?! I dreaded the thought of this, but then thought I could make a blog and record all the mugs I find but can't buy. Thus this blog is created. Da da da da! (royal noise..get it?)
I am excited today because I photographed my mugs to post them on this blog. So here goes, one of my favorite mugs that I own.
Anyways remember to send in any unique mugs that you find! Signing out for the first time! Yeahhh!
